Welcome to the NAT (National AIDS Trust) online shop (the 'Site'). Should you use 'Site', including purchasing any goods from the 'Site', you will be contracting with NAT on the terms outlined below. Please read these terms and conditions carefully.

Part 1 - General Terms and Conditions


These are the general terms and conditions of NAT governing your use of this Site.

1. Definitions


In these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:

"NAT" (also referred to as 'we' and 'us') means the National AIDS Trust, whose registered office is at New City Cloisters, 196 Old Street, London, EC1V 9FR, United Kingdom;

"Site" means the e-commerce web site located at http://shop.nat.org.uk

"Sales Terms" means terms and conditions related to goods purchased from the Site.

2. What you are allowed to do


2.1 purchase goods from this Site, provided you accept the Sales Terms, which will apply to any contract made between you and NAT for the purchase and sale of goods from this Site. These terms may be reviewed in Part 2 below.

2.2 browse the Site using a compatible web browser. Permission to browse the Site includes permission to make transient or cached copies of parts of the Site to the extent that this occurs in the normal course of using your browser and that these copies are used only to facilitate current or subsequent access to the Site by you;

2.3 print a copy of any page of the Site; for your own personal purposes, provided you do not do any of the things set out under section 3 "What you are not allowed to do" below.

3. What you are not allowed to do


3.1 if you are under 18, you may not directly purchase from this Site. However, we welcome legal guardians buying products on behalf of individuals under 18;

3.2 except to the extent expressly set out in these terms, you are not allowed to make any copies of any part of the Site;

3.3 you may not remove or change anything on the Site;

3.4 you are not allowed to copy or use any material from the Site for any commercial purpose;

3.5 you are not allowed to remove or change any copyright, trade mark or other intellectual property rights notices contained in the original material or from any material copied or printed off from the Site.


4. Your personal information

4.1 Usage of your personal information is governed by NAT's 'Privacy Policy', which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

5. Rights


5.1 All intellectual property rights in any material (including text, photographs and other images and sound, trade marks and logos) contained in this Site is either owned by NAT or has been licensed to NAT by the rights owner(s) so that NAT can use this material as part of its Site. You are only allowed to use this Site and the material contained in the Site as set out in these terms.

6. Third party web sites


6.1 This Site may contain links to other third party websites, which are not under the control of, and are not maintained by NAT. Any such links do not constitute an endorsement by NAT of any products or services available on such Sites. NAT provides these links for your convenience only and you use such links entirely at your own risk. We accept no responsibility for the content or use of such Sites or information contained in them.

7. Suspension of Site


7.1 NAT may suspend the operation of the Site for repair or maintenance work or in order to update or upgrade the contents or functionality of the Site from time to time. Access to or use of the Site or any Sites or pages linked to it will not necessarily be uninterrupted or error free;

9. General and governing law


9.1 NAT may change these terms and conditions from time to time and will endeavour to notify you of any major changes by posting a message on the Site. By browsing the Site you are accepting that you are bound by the current terms and conditions. Please review this policy each time you use the Site as it is subject to change at any time by NAT without notice to you;

9.2 These terms and conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with English law, and you consent to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in respect of any dispute arising there from.

Part 2 - Terms and Conditions of Sale ("Sales Terms")


Note: The following Sales Terms relate to orders from individual consumers.

1. The Sales Terms


1.1 These Sales Terms govern the supply of any goods you order via this Site. Please read through the Sales Terms carefully. If you do not agree with the Sales Terms, do not order any goods from this Site. If NAT accepts any order for goods from you, then its agreement with you will be made on these Sales Terms.

1.2 Please note that NAT reserves the right to amend the Sales Terms from time to time. NAT will publish the amended Sales Terms on the Site and any new versions of the Sales Terms will come into effect as soon as NAT publish them on the Site (with the exception that any orders that NAT have already accepted from you prior to any such change will be subject to the Sales Terms in force at that point). If you use the Site after NAT has published the new Terms, your continued use of the Site indicates that you agree to be bound by the new Sales Terms.

2. Availability of the goods supplied by the Site


2.1 NAT may terminate or suspend the supply of any goods displayed on the Site in the event of goods being out of stock, for support or maintenance work to update content or for any other reason. NAT may do this at any time and without notice.

3. Buying goods from this Site

3.1 Pricing policy

NAT may change the prices of the goods displayed on the Site at any time. The prices for all the goods available on the Site are clearly marked in their description.

3.2 Conclusion of Contract of Sale

The information relating to NAT's goods and relevant prices are displayed on the Site for your information and to enable you to decide whether you would like to make us an offer to purchase any such goods. Once you go to the order page of the Site, clicking to purchase any of the goods and submitting your order constitutes an offer made by you to us. Acceptance of your offer only occurs once you receive e-mail notification from us of our acceptance of your order at which point there will be a binding contract between you and us.

3.3 Methods of payment

For orders placed via the Site, NAT accepts payments by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club and major debit cards. When making your payment, it is imperative that you provide the information that we specify is required, for example, cardholder's name as it is shown on the card and the address exactly as it appears on the card statement. Your card will be debited when NAT confirms that it has accepted your order. Ownership or title to the product shall not pass to you, the buyer, until NAT has received payment in full.


3.4 Delivery

Standard delivery is charged at current rates per order to any UK mainland address. Delivery charges for orders outside the UK mainland are based on pre-determined weight bands supplied by the courier companies contracted by NAT. The charge covers packing, handling and delivery. Orders are normally dispatched within 7 working days. Please note that all orders will incur a delivery charge.

If you would like your goods delivered to a different address to your home address, then please fill in the details in the appropriate area on the online order form. Please note that we can only accept one address per order and you will still need to supply us with your own name and address details.

Please note items may be dispatched in more than one package, and will not necessarily arrive at the same time. If your goods have not arrived within 2 weeks of making your order, please contact NAT +44 (0) 207 814 6767 or email: accounts@nat.org.uk.

3.5 Out of stock

If any item you have ordered becomes unavailable, we will contact you via phone or your email address to let you know of the options that are available to you.

3.6 Return of goods policy

We hope you will be pleased with your purchase. Please let us know if you are not entirely satisfied with our products or our service so that we can rectify the situation. We try to ensure that the products are the same as our original samples, although sometimes differences do occur. Items are described and photographed as accurately as possible.

Should you wish to return anything bought from us, we will be happy to refund the amount paid as long as the product is returned in a fully resalable condition. Returns should be made within a resalable time (10 days) and in the original, undamaged packaging.

 

If we find that the product has not been returned to us in a fully resalable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item.

 

If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or because it is damaged or defective, we will refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and pay your costs of returning it to us.

 

3.7 Cancellation Policy

With reference to the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days of the date of receipt of the goods provided that the goods are returned to us new and in an unused condition in the original packaging. The return address is: NAT, New City Cloisters, 196 Old Street, London, EC1V 9FR, United Kingdom. A refund will be provided within 30 days of the date of cancellation.
